FAQs

  • The first step is to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to discuss your needs and goals, and to determine if we’re a good fit to work together.

    Fee Schedule:

    • 50-minute session: $250

  • I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance companies directly. However, I provide a superbill after each session, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement—depending on your plan. If you have any questions about how this works, I’m happy to walk you through the process.

You also have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate, which outlines the expected costs of your medical or mental health care. You can request this before scheduling any services. To learn more about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you. I’ll ask some questions about your background and what brought you to therapy. We’ll also start talking about your goals and what you’d like to work on. This is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly and begin the journey toward healing.

  • Online therapy sessions are simple and secure. I use a HIPAA-compliant video platform to protect your privacy. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera. Many clients appreciate the flexibility of meeting from home or another private location. I’ll guide you through the process to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and needs. I typically meet with clients weekly for 50-minute sessions, which helps us build momentum and foster progress. As therapy progresses, we’ll both have a sense of when you’re ready to “graduate.” Even after that, you’re always welcome to return for maintenance sessions if the need arises.

  • Finding the right therapist is important for meaningful progress. If at any point you feel we’re not the right fit, I understand and encourage you to share that with me. I’m here to support you and can offer referrals to help you find someone who may be a better match.
